Eco is a global survival game with persistent economy and ecology. Very demanding on CPU (simulation) and RAM (8-16 GB for 30 players). The official dedicated server is solid. Mod support via Steam Workshop. The game needs little bandwidth but lots of compute. World backups essential - given how complex a session is, losing 30h of progress is catastrophic.

What hardware specs do I need for a game server?

Multiplayer games are mostly single-thread - favour a high CPU clock (4 GHz+) over a high core count. RAM depends on the game: 2-4 GB for 10 Minecraft players, 8-16 GB for 50 Rust players.
