About Project Zomboid

Project Zomboid loads the entire map in memory: plan 6-12 GB of RAM for 16 players on a large map. Limited multi-threading, so high-frequency CPU. Steam Workshop mods are heavily used (server-side auto-sync). Backups included because the game can corrupt saves during Beta updates. Serious hosts: scheduled restarts, season management and events.
